Every year, the Serpa team looks forward to connecting with our customers at the PACK EXPO Trade Show. It’s an excellent opportunity to share industry innovations, showcase our new packaging solutions, and gather valuable customer feedback.
This year, things will be different — PACK EXPO Connects 2020 will be a new, web-based event. While we’ll miss meeting our clients and industry colleagues in person, the virtual format offers many exciting opportunities for customers and show participants.
Reimagining the PACK EXPO Experience
The show runs from November 9th-13th and will feature almost 2,700 live product demos over five days, delivered in 15-minute increments. Live vendor chats and breakouts will also be available, as will a range of educational tracks, including:
- ‘Hot Topic’ Jumpstart sessions hosted by industry leaders
- Innovation Stages, showcasing the latest breakthrough technologies
- Expert-led discussions in a new Solution Room format
- A special Packaging and Processing Women’s Leadership Network event featuring an address from Jan Tharp, president and CEO at Bumble Bee Foods
‘Virtually Unlimited’ Access to Serpa’s Solutions
While the logistics of traditional, live shows limit Serpa to showcasing 3-4 machines, PACK EXPO’s online format will offer a broader, more immersive Serpa experience.
Customers logging into the Serpa PACK EXPO Homepage can visit our Solution Gallery and view recorded video demonstrations and technical specs for many of our most popular packaging machines, including:
P100 Horizontal Cartoner — Featuring a balcony design that provides maximum access to all of the drive components from one side of the machine while maintaining a compact footprint
P200 Side Load Case Packer— A flexible solution designed to easily switch between product formats, the P200 can replace multiple machines
RF450/TL450 High-Speed Insert Feeder — Uses a rotary style, vacuum ‘pick and place’ system to deliver high-speed insertion capabilities with virtually no leaflet jamming or twisting issues
Visitors to the Serpa homepage can also sign up for live demonstrations that will highlight a range of solution topics, including:
FG4: A non-linear way to carton your product — Breaking the chain on cartoning with advanced cart technology
Serpa Case Packers — incorporate a balcony design with full walk-in access. The Easy Case Clear-Out feature easily releases problem cases and maximizes machine uptime.
Serpa Auxiliary — Eliminate the reliance on 3rd party equipment & improve your efficiency through Serpa-engineered accessories for added security
Fishbone — A new take on an established design, Fishbone is a renewable, recyclable, environmentally friendly beverage carrier
Participants in Serpa’s live demonstrations can join in live chats and get real-time answers to their questions. At the conclusion of each session, attendees can book a one-on-one follow-up meeting with a Serpa specialist.
